Welcome to US Farm Lease !

We help landowners and tenants come together on farmland leases.  We have a variety of services available to help owners, renters, trusts, farm managers and other fiduciaries get their lease terms negotiated.  We also have a system that allows owners and operators share farmland records with each other.

We have just redesigned our website to provide more information to our clients.  We call it our Online Farmland Resource Center.  Take a look today and watch regularly for updates!

It’s not too late to finalize your farmland lease for 2012.  Our Online Farmland Leasing System can help landowners get a market-based cash rent for their land.  The system puts your farm up for a “Rent Auction” for a 30 day period.  The landowner can then review rental bids and information about each operator that is bidding on the lease.

We also can help you develop a flexible FAIR Lease.  With the huge changes in the land market, wild commodity prices and an uncertain growing season in 2012, a flexible lease based off of actual 2012 yields and average cash crop prices might be the best way for landowners and operators to “share the risk”.  Our clients that have used the FAIR Lease love it.  If you would like more information, please give us a call or drop us an e-mail.

What Customers Are Saying

The Center for Absentee Landowners, Carroll, IA

Inherently, landowners and operators have different land management objectives. To stay in business, a good farm operator must consider short-term profitability. In contrast, most landowners are more interested in sustaining their investment over time.  Two-way communication between the landowner and operator is of paramount importance.  U.S. Farm Lease offers a unique service that can facilitate this communication and provide landowners confidence they’re working with a farm operator willing and able to meet their farm management objectives. This matching service can hold great value to landowners- whether their interest is maximizing rental income, protecting natural resources, or preserving a small family farm.
