Company Formation
US Farm Lease's founder, Mark Gannon, saw a need for system that could bring landowners and operators together. Rental farm operations have changed dramatically from the crop shares of the early and mid 1900s to the cash rents and flexible leases of this century. Landowners need a way to reach out to operators, and operators need a way to find property for lease. Mark designed US Farm Lease to help both operate in this new era.
Mark Gannon is also the president of Gannon Real Estate & Consulting of Ames, Iowa. Mark has been in the farm management, farm lending, and real estate businesses since 1979. He founded Gannon Real Estate & Consulting in 1999 after leaving his position as Land Manager at Iowa State University. He holds the following licenses:
